Add a festive feel to your space this Christmas

This week I invited myself to a Christmas decoration get together. This very Christmas decoration get together was hosted by ME. The venue was our home and, guest what? the invited “guests” were our children, my husband, and……finish.

Okay. So let me just tell it; decorating for Christmas this year was a whole new and memorable experience for my family!. It was the way I had often dreamed about until this week.

I don’t suppose you know this, but we could not decorate our home last year because on the one side there were the good reasons and on the other side there were the not so good reasons. But oh well, you too you know. That is Life.

This is why I’m so so thankful that the matters, some that still be (to be gone soon) could not stop us this year; no way!

So,

For this my deliberate Christmas decoration get together which I organised, I brought out my bag of all-sorts-of-beautiful materials and together we were able to make fancy Christmas decorations for our home. My idea was to have us make the decorations personalized to our requirements, whatever that may be for each person.

I wanted that we allow our imaginations and creativity flow, take over, and possibly overflow. Which was exactly what happened, so much so that, as we got more inspired, we chased to make more decorations. We just kept going and going; mummy, children and daddy hahahahahaha.

It was funnnnN!

We did not only add a festive feel to our home, it was our own kind of feel we added and, in the very style and manner that we each desired. Using our favourite colours, without necessarily confining ourselves to any certain rules or acceptable range for Christmas decorations. We simply did our own thing.

As we were making the Christmas decoration items; we were serious minded for a bit, we laughed easily, we made a lot of mess, we giggled, and poured out love for the items that we made. But at the end: it was all about creating memorable experiences.
